On Tuesday, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd announced the introduction of special anniversary edition of its sports utility vehicle ‘Fortuner,’ which was launched last year on 24th August, 2009. The Fortuner Anniversary Edition has been priced at Rs. 20, 45,000 only for 250 units of the SUV to celebrate the occasion. The Toyota Fortuner has maintained about 60% market share in its segment.

Toyota Fortuner is available in five different colors including super White, Silver mica, Grey mica metallic, Black mica and light Blue metallic. The anniversary edition Fortuner comes with 3.0 L TDCI D-4D, DOHC diesel engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission gear box. The new look in Toyota Fortuner includes a Front Bumper Spoiler, Bluetooth connectivity, Rear Roof Spoiler and Rear Bumper Spoiler all in body color, air conditioning vents, cruise control, navigator and a chrome plated Muffler Cutter giving it a distinct touch. The Fortuner also includes Vehicle Stability Control and Traction Control which provides excellent suspension dynamics.

The engine of Fortuner Anniversary Edition delivered the 168.6 bhp at 3600 rpm and peak torque of 343 Nm at 1400-3400 rpm as proof of its brilliant performance, superb reliability and exceptional off-road ability. The interiors as well as exteriors of the Toyota Fortuner are impressive.
