2011 Peugeot 508 : Specifications, Pictures & Price Prediction
The 2011 Peugeot 508 will officially reveal at the 2010 Paris Motor Show this October. The Peugeot 508 replaces two cars in Peugeot’s range, the 407 and 607. The 2011 Peugeot 508 is very stylist, which merging both a stylish and strong design with cutting-edge technology. Peugeot 508 design features are taken from the Peugeot SR1 concept car. It will be available in sedan and station wagon variants and marketed from the beginning of 2011.
The 508 will be available with a variety of petrol and diesel engines. It is equipped with gasoline units which will include a 1.6-liter VTi with 120HP connected to an electronically-controlled 6-speed manual gearbox, and a 1.6-liter THP turbo with 156HP mated to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic transmission. It will be available with six diesel choices: a 112HP 1.6-liter e-HDi model with an electronically-controlled 6-speed manual transmission; a 112HP 1.6-liter HDi with a -speed manual gearbox; a 140HP 2.0-liter HDi hooked up to a 6-speed manual; a 163HP 2.0-liter HDi mated to a 6-speed automatic and a range-topping 204HP 2.2-liter HDi with a 6-speed automatic also.

All engines will advantage from the latest engine technology including Peugeot’s new e-HDi stop and start system, which offers improved drivability and economy enhancements of up to 15%.The stop and start system will provide 200bhp performance with all-wheel drive and emissions of 99g/km of CO2 or zero in electric mode. The stylish exterior design is graceful and eternal and full of ‘French chic’, equally at home in Paris or London. The interior design is made by use of high quality materials. An outstanding interior space, a very generous boot, and a level of standard specification offer interior comfort and convenience of a very high level.
The 2011 Peugeot 508 will be offered in two body styles, a Saloon (with a length of 4.79 m) and a SW (4.81 m). The 508 has been intended to improve the performance of engines, develop environmental efficiency, decrease weight and improve aerodynamics, matched at all times to a broad range of highly efficient engines. Peugeot will offer a high-spec 508 with big wheels, a high-performance engine and luxurious interior. The boot is also practical and helpful with a generous volume of 545 litres of liquid for Saloon and 660 litres of liquid for SW. With the seat backs folded to form a flat floor, this volume rises to 1,581 litres of liquid. The original price of Peugeot 508 is not available yet.
