An Indian film actor, director, and screenwriter Salim Ahmed Ghoush well-known by his stage name Cochin Haneefa passed away on 3.30 pm on 2nd February 2010 due to liver problem. Haneefa was in serious situation in Chennai private hospital, he was suffering from chronic liver problem for long time and admitted in hospital sometime back.
