American Red Cross Chevy Aveo GiveAway will start from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m in Summers County this weekend. Volunteers will be set up at Shepard’s Care in Hinton. It’s a “2nd Annual Remedy Red Cross car giveaway”.

The purpose of “The American Red Cross and Ramey Automotive” is teaming up to get more participation in blood drives this summer. They are to increase the amount of donors and for that they give a chance to win a 2009 Chevy Aveo who gives blood between now and August.

Before the expiry date of American Red Cross Chevy Aveo GiveAway donate the blood for saving the life and to win a 2009 Chevy Aveo.

An employee of American Red Cross named Scott Hill said, “It’s a simple way to win something while doing something worthwhile.”

Scott Hill also said, “When accidents happen folks just assume the product is at the hospital, but if you don’t step up and donate blood earlier they may not.” Two blood drives are coming up this week.

Donors can donate their blood at Ramey’s Automotive on Friday. This event starts from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. One lucky donor will receive a $250 gift card. The remaining will have a chance to win the 2009 Aveo. Voss said,”Aside from the car giveaway, two other donors will also win $500 gas cards as part of the contest.”

This contest is only legal for U.S. residents who are 18 and older can participate. And all of the service centers in the River Valley Region which includes northeastern Kentucky, southern Indiana and parts of southeastern Illinois also.
