The Republic day 2010 parade has a total of 10 military bands, 13 Pipes and Drums of various regiments that provide music in the ceremony. In this ceremony included, soldiers of army forces, air forces, navy forces, school students have given best performance. The Chief Minister of the state assumes the honour of unfurling the National Flag of India. The ceremony is broadcast on television and radio in nationwide.

Republic Day Parade 2010 is held in Rajpath and second Beating Retreat ceremony at Vijay Chowk in Delhi. The ceremony will continue till January 28, 2010, and the ceremony tickets are on sale from Thursday, January 07, 2010 to January, 28, 2010.
- The price of tickets for the Republic Day Parade on 26th January 2010: Rs. 300/- and Rs 150/- for reserved seats and Rs. 50/- and Rs. 10/- for unreserved seats.
- The tickets for the Beating Retreat Ceremony on 28th January 2010: Rs. 50/- and Rs. 20/- respectively and will not have reserved seats.
- Tickets at the Parliament House Reception will be available from January 19 to January 28 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tickets were also available at nine departmental counters between 10 a.m. and 5-30 p.m, from January 23 to 25. Their all departmental counters are located at North Block roundabout, Shastri Bhavan (near Gate No. 1), South Block roundabout, Jantar Mantar (Main Gate), India Gate (near Jamnagar House), Pragati Maidan (Gate No. 1, Bhairon Road), Red Fort (near police picket), Parliament House (Reception Office), and Government of India Tourist Office (88 Janpath).
