‘I Kissed A Girl’ Singer Katy Perry, 25, is really going to marry with his fiance Russell Brand, 34, in a small ceremony in October- their wedding will stretch more than seven days. The date on the invites is 18 to 25 October, 2010. They have reportedly sent out “save the date” invitations to their family and friends several days before.

Russell Edward Brand was born on June 4, 1975. He is an English radio and television personality, comedian, actor, and newspaper columnist. Brand dresses in a flamboyant bohemian fashion describing himself as looking like an “S&M Willy Wonka”. Brand’s present style includes black eyeliner, drainpipe jeans, Beatle boots, and long, shaggy, backcombed hair.

Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson was born on October 25, 1984 in Santa Barbara, California. She is well-known by her stage name Katy Perry who is an American singer-songwriter and musician. Perry is recognized for her unconventional style of dress. Her hit song “I Kissed a Girl” was inspired by Scarlett Johansson. Perry’s transformation into an artist began with fashion, inspired by American film actress Dominique Swain’s portrayal in 1997 film adaptation of the novel Lolita.

During a romantic trip to India’s Taj Rambagh Palace hotel, brand proposed to Perry, on New Year’s Eve. They had been dating for 4 months when the comedian popped the question and are expected to have a sparkling wedding. Katy Perry and Russell Brand have been dating since last fall. The two reportedly hooked up at the MTV Music Awards and allegedly made out that night at an awards show after party.

The wedding card features a picture of Indian henna hand art, urges guests to “Save The Week for the wedding of Katy and Russell” from October 18 to 25 and reveals attendees “will need a passport“. The invite also states guests “will be contacted soon with more information“. She tells the publication, “We don’t want it to be a drunken fest of people, just one night and then forgetting about it. We want it to be about love. The wedding will be small. I always have a ton of people around me and I think the people that are going to share this moment with us are the people we want to integrate into each other’s lives.”

“It’s going to be about the people who we love,” Katy Perry says. “It’s not going to be a big hoopla thing. We have enough hoopla in our lives as it is.” Insisting she’ll “never be a bridezilla,” Perry said, “We haven’t even started planning anything yet.” Perry’s mind is focused on putting out a new album. “I’m in the studio,” she said. “It’s important for me to finish this record because I think people are wondering and anticipating what the heck is going on.”

A lot of pressure is felt to plan the perfect bachorelette party by RiRi since the Brand-Perry wedding is going to be so exotic. Rihanna said, “I have to come up with something cool because she’s getting married in India. I’m like, ‘Okay, now what do I do to match that?’ That’s at the end of the year so we’ve got some time to plan that.” TV star Jonathan Ross, funnyman David Williams, singer Morrissey and former Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher are included in Brand’s close pals. As well as Rihanna, Perry’s guest list is expected to include American pop star Taylor Swift.
