This trek has been started on June 8 in Toronto ON Rogers Centre and will be competed through a June 24 show in St. Louis, MO Busch Stadium. The Dixie Chicks announced that they would be touring with music group The Eagles on March 16, 2010. The tour began on June 8, 2010 in Toronto and announced eight concert dates. The tour is stadium-based and visiting cities such as Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, St. Louis and Winnipeg with a performance at the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Keith Urban would be appeared at selected concerts.
For East Rutherford, NJ; Boston; Philadelphia; Washington, DC; Chicago; and Winnipeg, Manitoba, additional stops are scheduled. The Eagles and Dixie Chicks are featured only for Toronto, Winnipeg and St. Louis dates.
The Dixie Chicks has opened their mini tour with the Eagles in Toronto on 8th June 2010. “Hey, Soul Sister” was the hit song from Train and one of the songs they performed and another was “Not Ready to Make Nice”. For ‘The Eagles’, Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit performed hits such as “Hotel California,” “Desperado,” “Life in the Fast Lane,” “Lyin’ Eyes,” “Take It To The Limit,” “One Of These Nights,” “Heartache Tonight,” these all are from their more than 35-year career.
The ‘Dixie Chicks’ group Martie Maguire, Emily Robison and lead singer Natalie Maines performed songs from all four of their albums including smash hits, “Wide Open Spaces,” “Goodbye Earl,” and “Not Ready to Make Nice” and they hit the stage for the first time in four years.
Some of the industry’s best known and most loved songs such as “Days Go By,” “Sweet Thing,” Who Wouldn’t Wanna Be Me,” “You’ll Think of Me,” “Better Life,” plus Billboard’s Country Song of the Decade, “Somebody Like You,” have been produced by Urban in his career and highlighted for Urban’s performance.
