The Dell Lightning is a Windows Phone 7 slider mobile phone. This Dell Lightning slider is actually not coming out in the market until the end of the year but photos of an upcoming Windows 7 Phone from Dell have been leaked out which are called as the Dell Lightning. In photos, it looks very impressive which indicate that Dell is serious about getting back in the smartphone business. It looks very slick, aesthetically and feature-wise. As Microsoft does not allows removable story in Windows Phone 7 models, the leaked product sheet of Dell shows ’8GB microSD’ which is interesting.
According to documentation, it is scheduled to release in the fourth quarter of the year, with additional documentation detailing LTE support via software update in the fourth quarter of 2011. The Dell Lightning is a vertical slider which will comes with a 1GHz QSD8250 Snapdragon processor, QWERTY keyboard, WVGA resolution 4.1-inch OLED display, AT&T and T-Mobile 3G support, 5.0 megapixel autofocus camera, 1GB of flash with 512MB RAM plus 8GB of storage on an internally installed MicroSD card, GPS, accelerometer, compass, FM radio, and full Flash support including video playback.
