United Bank of India PO (Probationary Officers) Recruitment 2010 has been declared on the bank’s official website www.UnitedBankOfIndia.com. From all over the India, the interested candidates can apply online for the post of PO from 10th August, 2010 to 8th September, 2010 on its official website. There are 370 vacancies available for post of Probationary Officers.

Qualification:
The required qualification of candidates is graduation or a post graduation in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum marks of 55 % in aggregate in either graduation or post graduation (50 % marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) in aggregate in any discipline.
AGE (as on 01.07.2010):
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Maximum age: 30 years
Application Fee:
- For SC/ST/PWD/ XS candidates: Rs. 50.00 (Towards postage only)
- For all others (including OBC): Rs. 400.00 (Application Fees plus postage)
How to apply:
Applicants can apply online through official website of bank, www.unitedbankofindia.com. For applying, other means will not be accepted.
To apply first visit the Bank’s website www.unitedbankofindia.com and click on the link of “Recruitment”. After that, open the Recruitment Notification for Probationary Officers.
Take a Printout of the ‘Cash Receipt’/ ‘Deposit Challan’.
Then fill up the Cash Receipt in a clear and legible handwriting in block letters.
Go to the nearest United Bank Branch and submit your Cash Receipt and make payment of application fee in cash.
Get the applicant’s copy of counterfoil of the Cash Receipt duly receipted by the Bank with (a) Branch Name & Code Number, (b) Transaction ID, (c) Date of Deposit & amount filled by the Branch Official.
After obtaining the Cash Receipt, Candidates get ready for applying online by re-visiting the appropriate Recruitment Link on the Bank’s website and click on the option “Click here to apply online for the post of Probationary Officer” to open up the Online Application Form.
Fill up the required details in Online Application Form carefully at the appropriate places from the Cash Receipt. Then click on the “Submit” button at the end of the Online Application Form.
After applying online, take a print out of online application form and keep it for future reference. Do not send this printout to the Bank.
A valid personal e-mail ID is required in the application which should be kept during the currency of this recruitment project. Through the registered e-mail ID, Bank may send call letters for written test, interview etc. Under no conditions, he/she should share or mention e-mail ID to / of any other person. If candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before applying online.
The original counterfoil of the Cash Receipt will have to be submitted with the Call Letter at the time of written test. Without the counterfoil of the Cash Receipt the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the written test. Candidates are advised to keep a photocopy of the Cash Receipt for future use.
Selection Procedure:
On the basis of performance in written test and interview, the selection procedure will be held. If the eligibility norms do not entitle a candidate, they will be not called for written test & interview. The written test details shall be communicated to the candidates in advance. The Written Test will be of Objective and Descriptive type.
